Digital Memories Booth

Are you concerned about losing your precious family photographs, documents, scrapbooks and ephemera because of Houston’s humid and volatile climate? Would you like to share these documents and memories with your family and future generations without the risk of loss, damage, or destruction?

Join us at the Digital Memories Booth where we will teach you how to digitize your important family documents, photographs, scrapbooks, newspaper articles, and ephemera! Visitors are encouraged to bring important family documents to the HAB digitization booth for scanning and a demonstration of basic techniques for digital preservation. Once items have been digitized they will be returned to their owners along with a free flash drive (USB) containing their digital memories or a link to download the files.

To participate, please bring up to five (5) items that can lay flat on a 13×17 inch surface.

Digital Memories Booth presented in partnership with the Moore Memorial Public Library.
